MHPC Youth Mexico Mission Trip 2010

Mexico - Rancho De Sus Ninos

The Echo high school group had a great opportunity to serve and share the gospel at Rancho de Sus Ninos in the Tecate/Tijuana area. The students worked each morning at mixing concrete for a new day care facility on site at the orphanage. The afternoons provided for opportunities to minister in the colonias of Tijuana. They hung out with the orphanage kids, La Roca youth center and at RDSN's daycare facility playing games and leading VBS and participated in evangelistic outreaches in the community.

Not only was this trip a chance to serve and share the gospel, but also a chance for the a change in how they saw God moving and working in the world. One leader said, "I can now see every encounter and relationship as a chance to minister." Likewise one student saw their time at RDSN as a chance to hear God say "come and see my holiness", which was a remark on how he saw God's character and how that is an invitation to be transformed. One of the most compelling remarks from a student was "stop trying to ignore God and his work."

We have all been invited to see God in action and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope that you are encouraged by this short report, the photos and the video footage below.
