Adult Education courses include:
Class 101: Exploring Church
Membership
We will explore together the Christian Faith and what
it means to be a member at this church. This class is offered quarterly.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to
the breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had
everything in common." Acts 2:42, 44-47
You were designed to be a part of a church family and that's what MHPC is
intended to be -- your spiritual family. Class 101 is the basic introduction
to our church family and will clearly explain who and what our
church is. The class is broken into four parts, covering topics like: our
church history" what we believe" God's salvation plan; and our strategy to
help you grow spiritually.
It's a great opportunity to learn about MHPC, connect with others, and grow
closer to Jesus.

Class 201: Introduction to Spiritual Maturity
This seminar, the second in MHPC's life development
plan is based on the truth that spiritual maturity is God's design for every
believer! Please see the details of this class to the right.
This class is offered quarterly.
"Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up
nourishment from Him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the
truth you were taught"
Colossians 2:6-7
Make plans to grow spiritually this year by attending Class 201. While
spiritual maturity is one of God's goals for every Christian, it doesn't
"just happen." When you attend Class 201 you'll learn clearly how to grow
(and keep growing) spiritually so that God can fulfill His purposes in your
life. No matter where you are in your journey with God, this seminar is for
you!

Class 301, Discovering My S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry
Every member of God's family needs a place to both grow
and serve. God designed the church and He “shapes” us for specific
ministries. Come and discover your S.H.A.P.E., and then the place where God
wants you to serve. At and through MHPC there are opportunities to: teach
children and youth, disciple men and women, sing in the choir, play an
instrument in the orchestra or worship band, maintain the church property,
welcome people to MHPC, help with refreshments, visit those in need, pray
for the sick, and much, much more. This class will be offered quarterly
beginning in the fall of 2005.
"Prepare God's people for works of service, so that the
body of Christ may be built up..."
Class 301, Discovering My S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry, is the third of our basic
classes. We want to help people discover their unique S.H.A.P.E. for
ministry and then find fulfillment in serving God.

Class 401, Discovering My Mission, is the fourth of our
basic classes.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
Learn to become contagious, competent and courageous messengers of the good
news regardless of where it leads or what it costs. Get the resources, ideas
and passion to fulfill our God-given mission. Share Jesus by demonstrating
and declaring God's love. Class begins late 2005.
